This soy garlic chicken marinade is sweet, savory, and full of flavor. It makes the chicken juicy and tender with a perfectly caramelized finish. You can bake it, grill it, or air fry it with almost no effort.
Whisk together soy sauce, honey, brown sugar, rice vinegar, sesame oil, neutral oil, water, garlic, ginger, onion powder, and black pepper until well combined.
Add chicken thighs and toss until fully coated in the marinade.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, ideally 2–8 hours for best flavor.
